Hello fellow Mac Alums!
We would like to welcome you to our first meeting of 2011 on Wednesday, February 9th where we’ll be discussing the following topics:
- Goals for the year
- The MAA Scholarship
- Upcoming officer elections
- Share ideas for fundraisers
- Make plans for our next happy hour
There will be drinks and snacks available so come with ideas and let’s make 2011 the best year to date for the MAA so invite other fellow mac alums and we’ll see you on February 9th.

The MacArthur Alumni Association is hosting Project Impact. The goal of this activity is to increase student membership in organizations in order to increase the probability of graduation and academic success. However, we need alumni to chaperone on Friday, September 18 from 6:45AM-3:30PM. If you can look at the list and determine which booth and what time you can chaperone, it would be greatly appreciated. We may need help setting things up in the morning and tearing things down in the afternoon. Sign up by emailing projectimpact@macalum.com. Include your name, cell phone number and time that you can help.

The MacArhur Alumni Associaton has donated $400 towards the Project Impact event happening tomorrow at MacArthur. 25 Alumni members are also expected to volunteer tomorrow. Let’s make the best school system in America even better.

The MAA has decided to cancel our upcoming Sept 8 meeting at Mac so we may put all of our effort on the Sept 9 Happy Hour at @PubFiction.
